Training

2006

Two engineers from the Centre trained at the UNIDO International Centre for Science and High Technology in Trieste, modelling the production of synthetic fuels from biomass and electroplating wastewater discharges.

2007

On 23–25 April 2007 the Centre hosted in Saint Petersburg the ICS-UNIDO international workshop “Supporting tools for Eastern and Central European NCPCs”, on process simulation and optimization, pollutant release and transfer registers and geographic information systems. Representatives of cleaner production centres from Armenia, Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia and Uzbekistan took part; UNIDO experts spoke, among other topics, on the Global Chemical Leasing Programme.
