The Krasny Bor landfill
The main subject of this work was the crisis around the Krasny Bor hazardous industrial waste landfill. Dr Startsev prepared expert recommendations for resolving it and for protecting the city's waterways.
The documentary “Krasny Bor Landfill Without Borders” (24 minutes) is devoted to the landfill; it will be placed in the video section.
The “Green Economy” programme for the Saint Petersburg administration
2016
In December 2016 a draft programme of “Green Economy” training seminars for officials of the Saint Petersburg administration was prepared (a 72-hour basic course). Its first module, “Ecodynamics and Geopolitics: Global Challenges and Threats to Civilization”, is led by Dr Startsev, UNIDO international expert, who also wrote one of the programme's explanatory notes.
